Savage, MN Landscape Makeover

Anne & Rob have a wonderful home in Savage, MN that was in dire need of a landscape makeover. The called on Tony of AAA Reick's Landscaping and Waterproofing to help them increase the home's curb appeal.The existing plantings were overgrown, the decorative rock had some weeds growing in it and it was poorly installed. There also was a retaining wall that was not needed and was holding too much soil up on top of the home's siding where it could cause mold and rotting of wood.Tony put together a design that met Anne and Rob's approval, and the work was scheduled. All landscaping material was removed and properly disposed of. The small block retaining wall was removed, and the soil behind it was lowered. The crew brought in amended soil to assure proper root growth for the new plantings. New landscape edging was installed and staked securely into place to prevent frost heaving. Also, a very thick weed barrier was cut and perfectly fitted.We planted a beautiful mix of flowering bushes and shrubs along with some hardy perennials. Tauton Yews were selected for year round color, PJM Rhododendrons for intense flower clusters and a Fireball Burning Bush for great fall color.  New decorative rock and red cedar mulch was laid into place along with Natural Chilton step stone.
